I reject the idea that there can be no points of human commonality between the right and left. It is being demonstrated, in real time, that a live-streamed genocide can, in fact, blur (or even erase) hard divisions. The normal revulsion one feels from watching, day in and day out, the unrelenting slaughter of infants, toddlers, children, and innocents is not unique to those on the left or the right.
