i took a break from japanese for a few days. i've been up to my eyeballs in an ancient codebase that needs lots of love and my wife hasn't been feeling 100%, so dad's been dad moding. i screwed up my sleep schedule, again, by falling asleep with the little guy at his bedtime. twice! need to reset. today's the day :)

ah, that explains why when progressives win we haven't won big enough, but when we lose we've hit a wall and will never win again (nevermind that nine house incumbents have lost their primaries, where foreign policy matters.)
